6 new IITs

  • Six new IITs in :
    1. Palakkad (Kerala),
    2. Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh),
    3. Goa,
    4. Dharwar (Karnataka),
    5. Bhilai (Chhattisgarh) and
    6. Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir).
  • All these institutions will be declared as institutions of national importance.
