  • Sea of Galilee (also called Lake Tiberias or Lake Kinneret) is Israel’s main source of freshwater.
  • The lake lies in northern Israel, between the occupied Golan Heights and the Galilee region.
  • River Jordan flows into the lake and then exits it before ending in the Dead Sea.
