  • Banks merged are:
    1. Bhartiya Mahila Bank
    2. State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur,
    3. State Bank of Hyderabad,
    4. State Bank of Mysore,
    5. State Bank of Patiala and
    6. State Bank of Travancore
  • With this merger, SBI’s market share has increased to 22.5-23% from 17% with total business of over 37 lakh crore rupees
